Orion is the son of Darkseid, evil lord of Apokolips, but he was raised by the benevolent Highfather, ruler of the utopian world of New Genesis. While attempting to uphold the peaceful ideals of his adopted home, he must contain the rage that is his legacy as the son of Darkseid. In the known DC Multiverse, one name stands above all others when it comes to supreme villainy: Darkseid, ruler of the hellish world of Apokolips, seeks to rob the entire universe of its free will and replace it with his own.
